I tried to look for the origin of this phrase, but to no avail (I did not try hard enough).
How could ignorance be such a bliss? When you do not know, you will not get hurt?
Sometimes the truth hurts, yes, but to live in curiosity is just as painful.
Knowing up to the point that is relevant is healthy. Seeking for more may turn your curiosity into an obsession.
